STEVE DRIGGERS
Steve joined Mid-South Sports in 1991 as a game site reporter, and today serves as Operations Manager, game analyst and color commentator as well as interview specialist. Steve is a Pine Forest High School graduate where he was a three sport star – football, baseball and basketball. Following high school, Steve was recruited to play football at East Carolina University, and ultimately graduated from Methodist College (now Methodist University) with a B.S in History. Steve dedicated 14 years to teaching and coaching on the high school level at both the Fayetteville Academy and at Terry Sanford High School. For the next 17 years, Steve was in the Telecommunications Industry serving with Cellular One, GTE Wireless, and SunCom. Currently Steve is on staff at Fayetteville Technical Community College. Active in the community, Steve supports West Fayetteville Rotary, Methodist University, and the Fayetteville/Cumberland County Crimestoppers. Steve and his wife Patty have two children, Emily and Scott, four grandchildren, and are members of Haymount Methodist Church.
